About the Owner

Shauna Wise is a master tailor and seamstress with over 25 years of experience in the fashion and garment industry. A proud graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Shauna has honed her craft to perfection, blending technical expertise with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of textiles and design.

During her illustrious career, Shauna served as the manager and head seamstress at Legacy Tailor for over four years. In this role, she not only led a team of talented dress alterations tailors and seamstresses, but also played a crucial part in maintaining the company's reputation for exceptional quality and service. Her ability to transform garments to fit clients perfectly, combined with her innovative approach to design alterations, made her known throughout communities in North Texas; including Frisco, Prosper, Savannah, Plano, The Colony, Dallas, Ft. Worth and surrounding areas.

Shauna also was a project manager, QC manager and seamstress for Bigelow Aerospace for over 5 years in the soft goods department. She worked on and oversaw the outer layers of the inflatable habitat attached to the ISS (International Space Station) still today.

Shauna's extensive experience and education have equipped her with a diverse skill set that includes precision tailoring, custom alterations, and intricate hand sewing. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every piece she works on meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Her passion for tailoring extends beyond her professional achievements. Shauna is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and mentoring aspiring seamstresses, fostering a new generation of skilled artisans.
